Our History
The Head of Christiana Church Cemetery, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, has provided a serene final resting place for Newark area residents since the 1700s. More than 40 Revolutionary War Patriots are interred in the cemetery, which sits on a green hillside, surrounded by mature trees, white-washed walls and iron gates.
